Gila Bendies
We really enjoyed our time in Tombstone, but the car rides were the most fun! Mom stopped at the weird gas station in Gila Bend and let us go play with the lawn ornaments.
We decided to fool her! Since we blend in so easily (like a chameleon), it was easy for us to hide.
The first place we hid was the Jesus statue area. If you look really hard, you can spot us! But it isn't easy! Go ahead! Try it!
Peek-a-boo!
Then, we hid in the miscellaneous stuff that was marked down for a quick sale. Bet you can't find us!
Peek again! HA HA HA!
And last but not least, we hid among the cow skulls. Talk about scary! We were glad when Mom finally found us hiding here!
Mom unhooked us from our seatbelt and let us ride freely all the way back to San Diego. We knew she was flirting with disaster and possibly facing a severe ticket, but she didn't care. Must have been all the Benadryl she was taking for those bug bites.
