Biscuits & Gravy
The shoes are still asleep. The little darlings are having trouble adjusting to the time change. To them, it's still 5:30 in the morning. Things should be right with them tomorrow, but for now, I will let them sleep another hour or so.
We had a cracking good thunderstorm last night with lots of wind, rain, and thunder. It was delightful! I was glad to be snug inside the motel and content to let the lightning dance. Fine with me. It's still windy and cold. So glad I brought clothing suitable for Tahiti. There is a free continental breakfast at this motel. Usually, that means fruit and pastries, but here it means biscuits and gravy. Yee Haw! I will wander down in a bit to see if I can snag a glass of juice. I just can't imagine eating animal fat mixed with flour and served over bread. There is a wee coffeemaker in my room, but I have to move it into the bathroom so I can watch TV or use the computer while it brews. There aren't enough plugs to use the coffeemaker where they actually put the coffemaker. Sounds like the urban planners in San Diego. So methinks it's time to forage for juice and possible Cocoa Puffs. This road warrior stuff is filled with challenges.
